Our primary aim is to provide our clients with advice, training and assistance to enable them to manage Health, Safety, Fire, and Environmental issues.

As a minimum requirement all representatives of our consultancy hold a minimum of the NEBOSH Diploma and are members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Managers.

The ultimate aim of M.E.L. is to help your enterprise or partnership integrate good practice at a sensible cost whilst helping you train your staff and change their workplace for the better.

Why do you need our help?

Regulation 7 of The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires that an adequate number of competent persons are to be appointed by employers to assist them in complying with their obligations under Health & Safety Legislation.

These competent persons do not necessarily have to be external consultants. Existing employees can be trained to the required level of competence. Through simple assessments M.E.L. (Health & Safety) Consultants Limited are able to identify and attend to the training needs required by your organisation.
