Pull Testing

We offer our clients the service of pull testing independent scaffolding together with any other brick or concrete anchors, plus ring bolts used by window cleaners.

Anchorage systems require initial, Preliminary Tests (to check their suitability, allowable loads and anchor type in a particular base material) and Proof Tests (sample tests to check that anchors have been installed correctly – to be carried out on all jobs). This testing must be conducted annually on office buildings that utilise eye-bolts.

Each anchor will be annually tested to the required number of kN, with the load sustained for a minimum of 15 seconds.

Each anchor will be fitted with an identification ring stating the eyebolt ID and the date of the next test due.

A test certificate will be issued after satisfactory completion of the test.
