Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations - BIIAB Level 2 Award

This qualification has been developed to provide those new to running, or looking to run, licensed retail premises with an overview of the areas of management responsibility that are essential for them to know to run their business successfully.

The BIIAB Level 2 Introduction to Licensed Retail Operations comprises 13 sections which are tested during one multiple-choice examination.

The course is run over 3 days and the areas covered are:

Health and Safety at Work
Financial Management
Cash Security and Stock Control
Trade Descriptions and Weights & Measures
Employment Law
Staff Recruitment and Training
Marketing and Merchandising
Customer Services
Product Knowledge and Drinks Service
Catering
Gaming and Machine Income
Management of Internal and External Areas

Candidates undertaking this course can then progress to the BIIAB Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Licensed Hospitality or BIIAB Level 3 Diploma in Licensed Hospitality

On completion of this Level 2 Award and with the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders the candidate will be award the BIIAB National Certificate in Licensed Retailing.

How long does the course last?

A three day course 9.00am – 5:00pm concluding with a multi-choice examination. The cost of this course is £350.00 + VAT.
