Working with Adults with Learning Difficulties
Outline This course is accredited by the Open College Network. This is an award at Levels 3 and 4 for candidates either working, or intending to work with adults with learning disabilities. The candidate does not initially need to be in a work-based situation as much of the knowledge required can be achieved in workshops provided by M.E.L. This is an ideal award and stepping stone for candidates who wish to enter the world of supporting adults with learning or mental disabilities. There are opportunities to extend this vocational qualification into a full NVQ.
