The Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

This course is aimed at first line managers, foreman, gangers, team leaders, supervisors and those who have, or are about to acquire, supervisory responsibilities.

It provides an introduction to health, and safety, welfare and environmental issues, and legal responsibilities relevant to their work. The course gives attendees valuable assistance in safely managing a construction site.

The course content includes the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and relevant regulations as well as specific site issues which include working at height and giving tool box talks.

Please note that this course is run as either a block of two consecutive days or one day per week for two weeks.

The course provides the ideal introduction for those supervisors who have had little previous health and safety training. It can also be used as a precursor to attending the 5 day Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course.

This course can be held at our modern training room facilities for an additional fee of £100 per day.  It is the ideal solution if you are limited for space or do not have the facilities to host the course at your site or premises.  We are located in Rainham (Essex) within a few miles of the M25 and with easy access to the Dartford crossing.
